Cloud Scrum Master

Serve as Scrum Master for the Cloud Engineering team, fostering collaboration, accountability, innovation and high-performing Agile delivery.

Lead adoption and scaling of Agile frameworks tailored to Cloud Agile projects.

Advocate ethical and responsible Cloud practices while ensuring compliance with applicable industry regulations and company policies.

Develop and track Agile metrics and KPIs to measure team performance and value delivery.

Partner with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Cloud Developers/Engineers and business stakeholders to define MVP vision and goals, manage backlogs and deliver high-impact AI solutions.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, remove impediments and optimise team workflows.

Guide Agile implementation with vendors and external partners and ensure alignment with Agile ways of working.

Lead onboarding for new team members and initiatives to support smooth transitions and rapid productivity.

Support delivery of training programs covering Agile, JIRA and intelligent workflows for internal teams and external partners.

Articulate the value of Agile methodologies and build trust and collaboration across matrixed teams, including BI&T, business stakeholders and internal and external development partners.

Communicate project status, risks and business outcomes clearly to Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure stakeholders.

Translate complex Cloud, AI and data concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences.

Collect feedback from teams and stakeholders to identify process-improvement opportunities.

Continuously enhance Agile practices using industry trends and established best practices.

Stay current with emerging Cloud and AI technologies and developments in Agile delivery.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

7+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in technology, pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare environments.

Proven experience delivering cloud development projects, with AWS experience prioritised.

Proven experience leading Agile teams through planning and execution of application-development, digital or data-driven initiatives.

Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with external vendors and partners.

Strong project-management capability covering sprint planning, backlog refinement and deliverable coordination.

Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.

Ability to interpret and communicate technical Cloud, AI and data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Familiarity with compliance and governance requirements including GxP standards, data privacy and regulatory requirements.

Solution-oriented troubleshooting and support with a strong continuous-improvement mindset.

JIRA and Confluence familiarity.

Cloud platform knowledge across AWS, Azure and GCP.

The position supports Agile transformation and delivery excellence within the BMS AI Hub.

The Scrum Master enables delivery of AI initiatives across R&D, Commercialization, Manufacturing and Enabling Functions.
