Clinical Business Analyst

Translate clinical study documentation, including protocols, imaging charters, procedure manuals, and scientific requirements, into detailed business and functional software requirements.

Gather, document, review, and manage study-specific business and system requirements for software configuration and implementation.

Develop and maintain client configuration specifications, business requirements documents, workflows, use cases, and project documentation.

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clinical requirements are correctly understood and implemented.

Review configurations and software solutions against approved study requirements and customer expectations.

Support software validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), installation, deployment, issue resolution, impact assessments, and change control.

Use Jira and related tools to manage requirements, user stories, defects, risks, and documentation.

Collaborate with Product Management on enhancements, new functionality, and continuous improvement.

Work with Clinical Project Management and Operations on study kickoffs, software builds, scope changes, and timelines.

Partner with Medical & Scientific Affairs to align scientific requirements and study documentation with configured solutions.

Coordinate with Clinical Data Management to align data collection, database structures, data transfers, and study requirements.

Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when necessary.

Maintain compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and departmental processes.

Contribute to SOPs, work instructions, quick reference guides, and controlled documentation.

Support software development, validation, quality assurance, product management, and operational activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Apply business analysis, requirements management, clinical research, software configuration, validation, and UAT practices.

Participate in training, internal meetings, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently while maintaining a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
