ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support healthcare client credentialing processes by reviewing provider documents, preparing credentialing files, and verifying primary sources.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain provider credentialing records within web-based provider databases.
Resolve provider discrepancies by following up directly with individual practitioners, healthcare payers, and internal stakeholders.
Prepare materials for credentialing committee meetings, facilitate committee proceedings, and record meeting minutes.
Review scanned provider documents in OnBase and compile application packages for annual payer audits and compliance reviews.
Coordinate directly with health plan payers to confirm timely receipt of provider effective dates and maintain file documentation.
